I'm so sorry this happened. This cult trying to get a grip on our children must be called what it is, evil. They are purposefully trying to turn children away from their parents and we must stop it. I can understand your grief , loss and frustration.
Back in 2019, CT DCF removed my then 14 yr. old daughter from the family home ( no abuse charges ) and placed her with a two homosexual male foster home ( to reduce her contact with other women) and began hormone therapy treatments behind our backs and without parental notification to affirm her new identity as a boy.
Even with two good lawyers on my side, things went from bad to worse. She was given powerful drugs such as Lithium with garbage therapy and garbage therapists to get her to say “I don’t want to have contact with my parents”, and they used that statement of a mentally ill child to block you from ever seeing them again , like they did to us.
The first round of hormone therapy is only good for about two years, so they requested a second more powerful hormone therapy drug from a “12 member medical panel” ( of which 6 are CT DCF members) again blocking parental rights or wishes.
It is now over 3 years since this crime against humanity has happened , and we are totally cut off from all contact from our now 17 yr. old daughter thanks to CT DCF.
One must ask the question — “what collusion is there between CT DCF and the makers / peddlers of non FDA approved hormone drugs?

I think I understand what you're going through, and I am so sorry. There are some things where we feel helpless, and that is when we have to give it to Jesus. We should actually do that in the beginning, but we don't. It's never too late, start today. We must also work together to take away the power of the politicians and bureaucrats pushing this insanity on our children.
Fighting sobbing.. I'm beyond sorry for your loss. It breaks my heart that you lost your daughter to this awful cult. It's scares me beyond words for the rest of our precious children caught in this web of lies.
Thank you for sharing this. Chilling reality about how close you seemed and yet still some gulf allowed your daughter to individuate in such a harmful way to herself and her family. How did we imagine that any individual's "happiness" or freedom is somehow isolated to the entire network in which they live? How can one express an urge for self-will separate from their social context? I don't see people talking about that.
So bizarre to see people melt down about your literary conceit of 'Obituary for your daughter' which I found very poignant and fitting for your experience. We could all benefit from expanding our ability to hold complexities.
I agree the article is ambiguous. Has the daughter actually passed on, or has!she 'transed away' or perhaps she's very ill and expected to die. In whichever case, we should all redouble our efforts to see off this death cult.
