This is such a wonderful, amazing story. It paints a picture of the despair and hope that parents have throughout the process of trying to protect children. As the states begin to protect children, they also need to protect young adults who have been groomed as children into believing there is something wrong with their bodies. Surgeons make so much money off of the surgeries. If states want to protect kids, they should outlaw any surgeries being done to patients that have been groomed by a gender clinic staff member into believing that being transgender is real. It's all a fantasy and so happy for you that your child was able to see that.
Hello, my beautiful America. This is President Eden, and it's time we had a talk. It's time we discussed something rather important. The issue at hand is, well, my presidency. The question has been raised, I know, as to just how I came to be elected to this most illustrious office. Or whether or not I had been elected at all. To that I must answer; of course. Of course I was elected, sweet America, of course. Isn't the right to vote the very foundation of a democracy? Unfortunately, in the interest of national security, I am not at liberty to discuss the details of the election, you understand. But rest assured, I am your president because the appropriate people of this great nation decided I should be. I am your duly elected representative. Of course, when the time comes, when my term is up, America will be free to elect a new president. And that person will have our full faith and confidence, and carry our collective values forward into the future. Democracy, dear America. Democracy now, and forever. This looks too much like the advice our gender confused teens are given by their therapists and the community at large--remove all negativity, such as your family and friends; focus on the here and now instead of the long term goals--you can always get a pair of fake boobs / you can always adopt / who needs sexual pleasure anyway, aren't you asexual; focus on yourself only as you are the most important person; Gd forbid you are uncomfortable or someone disagreed with you, that's a trauma; avoid anything triggering, seek safe places only. The OP is feeling great and positive, as there is always some level of euphoria in the beginning of every big change, just like our kids get "gender euphoria" when they start transitioning. Is this sustainable? Is this a long term strategy? How long can we pretend that we can be "safe" in our little pocket of artificially constructed reality?

In regards to my situation
My daughter Mia has been the State of Texas hands since October of last year. Here is what they have done.
I have court papers that tell of the mistakes they made with Mia.
She is now David.
In a Charter School.
Not with her sister but in a facility.
She is on two drugs I havent had a chance to look them up yet.
They brough her biological donnor into her life who is deffinately NOT HELPING.
Asking me to pay child support.
And Mia is not any better.
I will be meeting with the cps case worker Jamika Banks tomorrow morning for the first time. As always I will have it all recorded.
Her bio donnor left a week after I told hom I was pregnant.
I sold cars through my pregnancy 12 to 14 hours 6 days a week until my water broke on the showroom floor.
I will be sharing those court papers soon.
If I disappear LOOK FOR ME...kinda not kidding
After SB 14 passed on Monday. I pointed the CPS worker towards my story on Substack. We made an appointment to meet at my house. I walked down the street and next thing I know there were cops and the CPS worker at the door. I didnt go home we were supposed to be meeting alone. So why would she show up with 3 cops?
No one is Talking about how our children were indoctrinated in PUBLIC SCHOOLS!
WHY WONT THESE REPS HELP ME?
BECAUSE THEY ALLOWED THIS BS TO INFILTRATE OUR SCHOOLS!

A reporter from Epoch Times was writting my story until he became a voice of compliance. Complying doesnt matter they still take our children Away from us.
I am so happy for you and your family. Point taken about negativity, but I have two objections when it comes to applying your steps to my own life: 1) the parents of ROGD kids parent self-support group that I attend has done me SO much good in terms of putting things in perspective, staying positive, and being there for my daughter when and if she turns to me; 2) I want to be aware of and support legitimate organizations that are fighting the fight against trans surgeries and hormones for children, and for preserving fairness and opportunity in girls' and women's sports. If I unplug from it all, this evil agenda will continue to run rampant across our society.
I hope this substack doesn't become a place to advertise services. I get it that we all want to share what helped us in this hellish journey, but I think a link to a particular life coach is advertising and doesn't belong in a resource like this.
The timing of the author's son contacting her makes me wonder if he was following her on social media all along and came back as soon as she left what he considered "transphobic" circles on social media. It's a hard balance between our children's needs/trust and the urgency to fight this cult.
BRAVO for you!! Letting go is not easy by any means! As mothers, we are ready to fight to the death for our children. But yes, at some point we have to let go and this issue has cause so much unnecessary pain for families that it is unreal! I have stated before, I truly believe there are trans people, I KNOW trans people that are truly trans, but this aim and attach at children is something else! I just keep hoping parents keep speaking up! Otherwise, this is never end and it has to!

Where's the father would be my question. It's a lot to dump on one parent. I can understand the temptation to escape. You don't have to become an activist or a twitter clicktavist. But thrusting ur head in the sand is no answer. And this shouldn't be a place to shill life coaches, or cults
