Dear Lara, speaking for myself and my lesbian wife of 22 years. Yes, we were and are in some ways "gender nonconforming." However, now, we are as comfortable in our own bodies as any middle age woman. We never identified as boys or men. I do think if I was a young lesbian today I would be very confused. I'm glad I'm not a young gay person today, which is saying something because coming out in the 90s was not easy.

In every non-western country the majority of homosexual males take on a feminine identity which would classify them as trans women here. only in the extremely HOMOPHOBIC western society are gay man forced to 'man up' and be masculine as opposed to feminine.

Just when you thought you'd seen everything. Great investigation by this parent. I hope someone investigates each person that is associated with this group. Tho something tells me that will be difficult since most people take on new names/identities to obscure the truth.
Journalists who write critically on the topic get cancelled, threatened, harassed and lied about constantly. Abigail Shrier, Meghan Murphy, Jesse Singal, Katie Herzog, come to mind. Look what has happened to the world’s most successful author, J.K. Rowling, for simply pointing out that biological sex is real. My point is, any journalist who takes on this topic will have to be prepared to work independently, outside the mainstream press, and tolerate a merciless level of abuse, including rape and death threats. It requires a high degree of commitment and nerves of steel.
It’s not impossible, but if one wants a career in journalism, it’s tricky, to say the least.
It's unfortunate how much censorship there is on this issue in favor of "progressivity." These days, truth is opposite of progress, when they should be one and the same. It's like constant Opposite Day.
I did not know a: “Trans Journalists Association Style Guide” existed, with such explicit written directives. Have you tried publication, like in NYPost?

Also common were people who the respondents knew offline such as therapists (37.0%); someone (28.0%) or a group of friends (27.0%) that they knew in-person."
That is, the detransitioners themselves are identifying these social pressures. And many are noting they were inadequately informed.
Why are their voices less important than those who liked their outcomes long term?
Especially since no one can tell you how many there are of either?
