I think one of the keys to convincing people to stop proffering their pronouns will be to show them what a bad first impression it makes. This was highlighted in a recent survey by DatePsychology, which found that listing preferred pronouns is a distinct turnoff for both men and women. See this article for details:

I was shocked to see an email from my child’s high school letting them know they could go grab a pronouns button. Our wold is falling apart and taking our children down first. This is so sad.

Agreed. I'll refuse to ever state 'my' pronouns, I don't have any. People can use my name if they need to talk about me or my possessions. Remember 'who's "she", the cat's mother'?

It's the gender religion's equivalent of 'Peace Be Upon Him' ... a token of fealty, designed to mark out the people refusing to take the knee, which ironically tells us how much the zealots fear the lone nonconformist. See Vaclav Havel for details. Maya Forstater's blog on the Power of the Powerless is an excellent intro.

"no matter how much you try, people will still classify you by your biology automatically in their heads and there’s nothing you can do to stop them." My daughter said this almost verbatim in a facebook group recently, and bingo! Banned from the group, then banned from facebook for 30 days. I agree entirely. Not only that, but saying he/him, when you know they are a she/her is lying to yourself and causes micro body stresses, such as a lie detector would pick up. Enough of those micro stresses, and you're actually doing your health, and body, harm.

Bravo! Couldn't agree more have decided my new pronouns are 'he'/'her' (take THAT and suppose I'll leave 'they' up to you as well?)
