intergenerational trauma (familial abuse patterns, especially CSA), plastics/aluminum in food sources (estrogens), and religious sexual shame lie at the roots of this gender dysphoria. yet gender mutilation is nothing new. circumcision began in ancient slave economies to mark slaves. human consciousness can be as gentle as a bonobo or as vicious as a chimp. the only difference, is we have no excuse for abuse. the ONLY focus of humankind and the intellectual/professional community should be healing the natural environment and human relationships.

Medicalising transgender phenomena doesn't make evolutionary sense. Breast binding for example is also a recent, widespread culturally driven practice, not a life saving act.

Trans phenomena vary somewhat across cultures and their definitions rely highly on their surrounding culture, hence the current urge to medicalise at all costs. Iatrogenic factors play a part at enhancing gender dysphoria and at targeting people on a path to hormones and surgeries.

The ways in which humans have interfered with biological evolution are inherent in that very evolution, and yet it seems to me that they represent an insult to nature 's design. Conscious human interventions systematically belittle and freeze the meaning and intricacies of life through temporarily attempting to take control. Perhaps we could learn through riding the tide, not by pushing against it.

No matter the social cost, the market responds to and enhances the demand. I applaud the author of this piece. But, how to smash it? The LBGTQA+ “victims” are now an entitled class and are well practiced in smashing anyone who opposes them. They want as many other victims in their class as possible. It would take a successful class action lawsuit against the Covid-19 vaccines and Gender Affirming Care’s irreversible damage to make the point of “Informed Consent” stand again as an inviolable standard.

Good stuff from the UK - addressing the ideology and more:

"Tavistock to face possible clinical negligence claims over gender identity service

BMJ 2022; 378 doi: https://doi.org/10.1136/bmj.o2016 (Published 12 August 2022)

"We would advise that the NHS proactively set up clinical services to support detransitioners, and that the NHS Litigation Authority and Medical Defence Organisations prepare. The government should look closely at materials provided by advocacy groups (such as Stonewall, Mermaids, Gendered Intelligence, and others) that teach children and clinicians (e.g. GPs, nurses, medical students and mental health professionals) gender identity theory as if it is fact, without referencing the concerns and uncertainties in the evidence. Until this is addressed young people will be at increased risk of misinterpreting their complex difficulties as proof they are ‘trans’ and believing there are simple and medical solutions to their distress."

This is a very powerful and well-written thought piece. I think you've done a reasoned assessment of a very difficult topic. More thought-provoking analyses like this — or an expansion of this piece — are necessary for a nuanced understanding the overall problem. I think one aspect that has not been well articulated is the fact that many of the proponents of this agenda are, in my opinion, suffering from severe psychological problems. Some are completely out of touch with reality, some are blinded by narcissism, some suffer from psychopathy. I think this needs to be articulated in the reasoned way that you have done here. Also, as you've noted, some of this agenda is driven by advances in technology that have outstripped our abilities to temper the use of technology with ethical considerations. There is no telling what could eventually be done with increasingly more sophisticated surgical manipulations. As I mentioned in a recent article, even human head transplants are being contemplated.

https://everythingisbiology.substack.com/p/if-aneuploidies-sexes-then-two-headed

As physicians become more skilled at surgical techniques and are provided the tools to enhance those techniques, they will want to push the boundaries of what's possible. That's simple human nature, as you've pointed out. It's very difficult to temper that intellectual enthusiasm especially when it's being generously funded and socially supported.

However, you can't add or remove body parts or manipulate hormones at will and change the underlying organism. That's a biological truism. Body modification may be psychologically helpful to some individuals but it's absolutely impossible to predict the long-term impacts of these irrevocable decisions for any *given* individual. That is the dilemma. We all did things when were in our teens and early 20s that make us cringe as adults. Thank goodness most of them did not leave scars, either psychologically or physically.

Thank you for this thought-provoking essay, Frederick

A brilliant articles! Hitler,s evil of the 20th century is being repeated, experimental mutilation and dangerous drugs, only this time it's getting rid of one's biological sex for a synthetic sex. There is no informed consent as to the horrible side-effects of changing ones sex; it is uninformed consent with a lifetime of consequences!

I don't know who wrote this, and it doesn't say, but it's brilliant! Congratulations, this is precisely the type of work that will be needed to bring down this mutilation industry.

Thank you for writing this. I hope you can make it on October 8th at the Anaheim convention center at the Do NO Harm rally. Thousands of pediatrician's will be there. We parents will be there to inform them of the harm being done to our children in the name of GAC.

This is an incredible history. I knew some of it and have been writing about it for years, but this is much more extensive. My 16 year old aunt was sterilized in around 1934 in Ohio for being poor and a "criminal."

I have been writing against and recording for over 50 years about how the trans cult increased and went from being ignored to being supported in my community to now where it has ultimate power. with men taking over almost everything Lesbians and women have built. Meanwhile, it also has massive power in the mainstream media and culture, even though a small minority. And even though it's all illusion since trans is a fetish and not real. The harm is immeasurable though. How to stop it?

an incredible, timely piece. Thank you for putting all this together. I have book marked the California eugenics page to read later. Now that California is going to become a sanctuary state, they have re-elevated themselves in the hierarchy of culpability.

Whoever wrote this, you must continue to write and publish on this topic. This essay is a tour de force, erudite, allusive in all the best ways, something beyond an argument and a call to arms, it was an enlightenment moment. I follow PITT and other sources documenting the current GA movement and have come to believe we are witnessing organized crimes against humanity. This piece gives me more than relief that I am not alone in this belief; it is a powerful tool that can be used to dismantle the system.

Can't disagree more with commenter below who tries to assign a belief to the author that is nowhere stated (regarding the ultimate litmus test issue for some, abortion). The application of this practice on an industrial scale is clearly and irrefutably based in the Eugenics movement, whatever your personal opinion is of it and the possible regulations/restrictions that may be put in place by various polities to govern its use.
