My name is Abel Garcia, I was born in 1997 to a Mexican family who came to the US illegally. Due to my parents’ illegal status, I was raised by my grandparents because my parents were working non-stop so they could support me. Growing up I was a very shy, quiet, and timid boy, I was and still am an over-thinker. With my father working non-stop, I did not have a male role model in my life growing up. As a kid, I did not feel comfortable as a boy because of my overthinking and also because I was not the most masculine boy growing up. My feeling that I was not a typical boy led to my belief that I must be a girl.
Abel, thank you so much for being so courageous to share your story. The details are heartbreaking, truly heartbreaking, but your ability to articulate and share helps others who feel so alone on this horrible path. I watched your YouTube video, where you encouraged parents to not lose hope, to keep praying. I can’t tell you how much I needed that. Thank you so much for being so compassionate and caring towards us parents. I’m fighting not to lose hope. I know the Lord is able to help my daughter come out of this. You are allowing the Lord to bring good out of the harm that was done to you. I pray that your voice helps protect others, and that you find healing and have a wonderful future walking close to the Lord.
It just occurred to me that detrans young people NEED HOPE about their reproductive health that was injured with the trans-narrative attack.
HUGE advances are made in new health modalities and new paradigms daily. Injured detrans kids need to know that there may be help and healing (maybe a little, maybe some, maybe a lot) possible now and in the near future.
Physical issues that conventional pharma-med says "NO HOPE" to (since it's a toxic, broken system), may have lots of hope from other systems of healing.
All these stories of these vulnerable young kids are mindblowing.
Abel, please know that you (and all you detrans kids/young adults) have unimaginable strength IN YOU, and SUPPORT around/under you from the community of people you don't know or see (represented by all the 'likes' here, and all the commenters).
These were crimes done to all of you. This ship will turn around.

Bless you for your courage, your wisdom, your willingness to stand up with the most powerful medicine of all, that's most likely to be attacked because it is so potent - truth from someone with indisputable qualifications and authority to speak about your own real experience, that exposes the lack of informed consent and the criminality of "therapists", and of a system that grooms them to groom young people like you, yet would take their license if they were to do honest work.

Isn't it so telling that these "Affirmative Therapists" attempted to fast track you so recklessly down the road to unecessary medicalisation, never asking about any relevant traumas or even ruling out dangerous comorbidities - yet when you wanted to detransition because you felt miserable they tried to pin THAT on trauma?
FWIW you have never seemed especially feminine to me. Being quiet and thoughtful are qualities which are incredibly undervalued in our society, in men and women both. I think you should consider them an asset.
